Get Involved – March 2025

Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month

The GH Foundation is taking a crucial step in raising awareness about colorectal cancer during Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month in March. As the second leading cause of cancer death in the United States, it’s vital to highlight that colorectal cancer is not only preventable but also treatable and beatable with early detection and proper care.

Throughout March, the GH Foundation will collaborate with advocacy groups to emphasize the importance of regular screenings, healthy lifestyle choices, and early detection. By working together, these organizations aim to spread the message that colorectal cancer is a battle that can be won, primarily through education, awareness, and proactive health measures. Regular screenings, such as colonoscopies, are key in preventing and detecting the disease early, saving lives.
